In the early fall of 2009, DC Life invited us to design a capsule collection centered around life in the city and the fixed gear culture within. This collection was to be aimed at a contemporary customer as is most of the Life collection. After lots of back and forth with the accessories and DC Life team and a couple rounds of story boarding, we settled on a backpack, a small courier bag, a baseball cap, a driving cap and a cycling jacket. We decided on a heavy waxed canvas mixed with a rich pebble leather for the bags, making them some of the most durable bags we have made to date. The Bruxe | DC Life DEAD RAT PACK is now hitting top tier DC Life accounts around the globe.

Since Montreal is the city we call home we wanted to do something special for the Montreal launch. After a little bit of convincing DC gave us the go ahead to design a one of a kind bike to promote this colaboration which will be displayed at Off The Hook. The bike represents a perfect balance of the the 2 brands, The frame and BMX heritage of the bike is all DC while the classic colorway and rich leather accents stay true to the Bruxe aesthetic.
